The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)

The Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is a mandatory enrollment program, based on carefully defined rules. EFMP works with other military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive and coordinated community support, housing, medical, educational and personnel services to families with special needs.

Air Force Exceptional Family Member Program-Family Support (EFMP-FS) Coordinators inform and help educate the base populace about EFMP, emphasizing community support. The EFMP-FS Coordinator connects Airmen and family members with support services for special needs, advocacy assistance and helps provide a continuum of care to facilitate a seamless transition from installation to installation.

The EFMP-FS Coordinator is located in the Airman & Family Readiness (Bldg. 1249) at 2160 Kenly Ave. Please call 671-3722 for an appointment and or assistance.

The EFMP-FS Coordinator works in partnership with all involved providing Exceptional Service to Exceptional Families.
